Canada’s Kelly Koss Wins Premier Equestrian Sportsmanship Award During Week Four Of The Winter Equestrian Festival Wellington, FL (March 2, 2012)– Canadian Kelly Koss, the manager of the Horse Program at Spruce Meadows, was all smiles while competing Aruso, a Dutch Warmblood owned by Spruce Meadows, during the fourth week of the 2012 FTI Winter Equestrian Festival. Koss’ positive attitude while competing in the jumper classes also helped her ride away with the Premier Equestrian Sportsmanship Award, sponsored by Premier Equestrian, LLC, a leading supplier of dressage arenas, horse jumps, arena footing and stable accessories.
“When it comes to being a good sport we have all had our share of bad days but we need to keep looking toward tomorrow and not let the lows get us down,” Koss said. “It’s important to enjoy the good days and the highs when they come.”

Koss described Aruso as a “little horse with a big heart,” and the small but talented equine put a smile on the face of his rider. Koss also thanked Premier Equestrian for sponsoring the Sportsmanship Award and said she was pleased to win it.
Heidi Zorn, President of Premier Equestrian, congratulated Koss on her great attitude. “The Premier Sportsmanship Award is presented to a barn or rider who displays a high level of sportsmanship during a show and the winner receives a gift certificate for $100 worth of Premier products,” Zorn said. “We have a lot of great products and I know Kelly will be able to find something she really wants.”
