Sandy, UT (August 22, 2012) – Premier Equestrian is proud to introduce their latest, most advanced system for riding arena grooming and maintenance called the Premier Groomer. This highly efficient groomer combines several design elements that increase grooming capabilities, allowing it to break, mix, fluff, level compact, and finish in just one pass. It can also water the arena simultaneously when the Premier Groomer Water Attachment is added, saving both time and money in arena management.

As many managers know, different arena surfaces have specific maintenance requirements, and finding a solution that can handle them all can be difficult. For example, textile arenas need to be churned and blended consistently for best results, while crumb rubber arenas need to be mixed and leveled. The Premier Groomerhandles all of these tasks with ease. It can even break up the most hard and difficult surfaces, such as heavily compacted footing. The Premier Groomer can also be used for tilling pastures and road maintenance.

Outfitted with S-tines, The Premier Groomer features adjustable tine depth, an adjustable leveling bar, and a multi-point roller providing complete flexibility in all aspects of arena maintenance.  Powder-coated to resist rusting, The Premier Groomer can be used with or without a 3-point hitch. Simply add the tongue and ratchet-jack to pull behind an ATV, lawn tractor, or other single point hitch vehicle. 

When added, The Premier Groomer Water Attachment and watering system allows the arena surface to be groomed and watered at the same time.  Designed to sit atop the Premier Groomer, this combined system is the first fully capable groomer and watering cart on themarket.  The Water Attachment system includes a 63-gallon tank, a 1 HP gasoline engine, a 1” pump, brass clog-free nozzles and a wireless remote to turn it off and on from the tractor seat. The entire unit is self contained and easy to operate. Simply fill the tank, start the engine, and go. The tank will pump empty in about 4 minutes, providing ample saturation while grooming.

The water tank sets over the roller wheel so it doesn’t affect the tine depth, while the additional weight of the water assists in surface compacting during grooming.  The Water Attachment is perfect for arenas that have little or no water available or for those thatneed additional deep moisture saturation. Premier Equestrian Congratulates Madeleine Birch on 3rd Consecutive Team Gold at NAJYRC

Premier Equestrian Congratulates Madeleine Birch on 3rd Consecutive Team Gold at NAJYRC Sandy, UT (July 31, 2012) – Madeleine Birch, a Young Rider from Salt Lake City, Utah, recently added another accomplishment to her growing resume.  She and her own Uoeri, an 11-year-old Dutch warmblood recently were awarded Team Gold for Region 5 at the North American Junior Young Rider Championships in Lexington, Kentucky.  Birch is sponsored by Utah-based Premier Equestrian, a leading supplier of equestrian equipment, horse jumps, dressage arenas, and world-class footing.

This 2012 win for Region 5 is Birch’s third consecutive Team Gold at NAJYRC, where she competed with Uoeri in 2011 and Katherine Scott’s Starlight in 2010.  The 2012 Team from Region 5 included Birch, Brandi Roenick from Scottsdale, AZ riding Weltino’s Magic, Devon Wycoff of Boulder, CO on Power Play, and Victoria Fernalld of Denver, CO aboard Amazing.  Birch and Uoeri scored a 67.9% in the team test, which was the third highest score.  Individually the pair scored a 68.7% and in the Freestyle they scored a 67.8%, for sixth place.  Birch and Uoeri’s strong ride helped to boost Region 5 to Team Gold.    Birch moved to Heber City, Utah when she was 16 to live and train with dressage trainer Margo Gogan.  With the help of Bicolor, a Grand Prix schoolmaster, Birch learned the upper level movements of dressage before purchasing Uoeri as a 7-year-old.  She and Margo brought Uoeri from third level to Prix St. Georges and they are now schooling the Grand Prix movements.  She is currently a student at the University of Utah studying biology and chemistry, and plans to attend medical school. “We are very proud to be sponsoring Madeleine Birch,” said Heidi Zorn of Premier Equestrian.  “Not only is she a fantastic rider and a hard worker, but she’s a Utah local and exemplifies everything we look for in an up and coming dressage star.  While many developing dressage champions hail from the east and west coasts, the mountain west is often overlooked,” explains Zorn, “ We make it a point to recognize the top riders in the mountain west including Debbie McDonald, Adrienne Lyle and Madeleine.  We are proud of the entire Region 5 Team.  Premier always strives to support dedicated, talented individuals who have worked their way up the levels, and promote American made athletes.
