Sandy, UT (December 23, 2011) – Premier Equestrian, a leading supplier of dressage arenas, horse jumps, arena footing and stable accessories, is proud to announce they are sponsoring dressage trainer Margo Gogan, of Hilltop Dressage in Heber City, Utah, and her talented group of Young Rider students. Cassie Benson and Maddi Birch, two of Gogan’s award-winning students, were recently chosen to ride at the 2011 United States Dressage Federation (USDF) National Symposium.

“Premier is thrilled to be sponsoring Margo and her students at Hilltop Dressage, and we firmly believe Hilltop is one of Utah’s hidden gems,” said Heidi Zorn, President of Premier Equestrian, which is also based out of Utah. “Margo has had so much success with her students and horses over the years and Premier is privileged to be sponsoring them. Margo has a great long history of promoting and training Young Riders and Cassie and Maddi are two fine examples of the level of students Margo produces.”

Both of Gogan’s students had a successful 2011 year, with Birch bringing home her second team gold medal from NAYRC on her Dutch gelding Uoeri. Benson competed Melissa Connelly’s Danish gelding Viking, winning the National Intermediaire I Championship in the Junior/Young Rider Division. “It’s unique that we are in Utah, because we are a bit outside of the dressage world. But we keep our heads down and work hard. We have great clinicians come to Hilltop, including National Youth Coach Jeremy Stienberg, and we have great horses and the support of really good parents,” Gogan said. “I was very pleased that Maddi and Cassie were asked to ride at the USDF Symposium.”

Zorn added, “Margo and her students are such a success, I just can’t say enough wonderful things about them. With her business partner Alison Child, Margo is putting together the Region 5 Championships next year and Premier will be one of the official sponsors for the event. We are hoping to install new footing and we will be providing all of the equipment for the Championships.”

A Brentina Arena, from Premier Equestrian, was used at the 2011 USDF Symposium. “We were excited to be part of the USDF Symposium, as Premier is a strong supporter of the dressage community. Our Brentina Dressage Arena is named after Debbie McDonald’s famous equine partner, Brentina, and Debbie is one of the national coaches who took part in the Symposium. Margo’s student Cassie recently worked with Debbie in California and her goal is to compete in the Brentina Cup,” Zorn said.

As an official sponsor of the United States Dressage Federation, Premier Equestrian is well known in the dressage community. Premier supplied the dressage arenas for the 2010 World Equestrian Games, as well as the dressage warm-up arena, driving arena, driving warm-up arena and the flower boxes and dressage letters. “The Brentina Arena was used for the main competition arena at the World Equestrian Games in Lexington and was very well received by the international dressage community,” Zorn said.

Considered America’s leading manufacturer and distributor of dressage arenas, Premier’s website offers extensive and informative information designed to help horse owners understand the differences in arenas as well as horse arena footing. “While Premier is thrilled to sponsor Margo and Hilltop Farm, especially because they are from our home state of Utah, Premier is also pleased to say that 99.5% of our products are made in the United States or Canada. I strongly believe that we need to support our own,” Zorn said.

Premier Equestrian also offers a complete line of horse jumps and horse jumping equipment. Including jump standards, gates, walls, jump cups, horse jump poles, sponsor jumps, and cavaletti. About Us

Premier Equestrian was built around our primary passion for loving, training, and riding our horses. Every product we sell is measured against this passion for safety, practicality, and the well being of the horse.

Premier Equestrian, LLC, began in early 1999 by offering affordable dressage arenas built from quality PVC materials. From the beginning we have striven to produce high quality products and offer them to our customers at affordable prices.

Over the past seven years Premier Equestrian has grown to offer over 500 products, all related to equestrian arena sporting equipment. We have a full line of dressage arenas, horse jumps, flower boxes, and decorative accessories. We are the leading distributor for Burlingham Sports and their wonderful polyethylene jump line. In 2004 we added our mini jump line to our expanding catalog.
We are the manufacturers and distributors of the Baseline and PolyPro line of jump standards, jump gates, jump poles, rock walls and such. We have also developed a premium crumb rubber arena footing product named ProStride™ Arena Footing. Upward and onward.

Along the way we have been privileged to meet some very wonderful and creative people that we call our customers. Our customers are very special to us as many have become fast friends giving us their perspectives and advice about our products and designs, and the occasional doldrums of being entrepreneurs. We appreciate all of you, thank you for your support.

Premier Equestrian -Made In America Horse Products

Premier Equestrian Proudly Promotes “Made In America” Products

Sandy, UT (December 22, 2011) – Premier Equestrian, a leading supplier of dressage arenas, horse jumps, arena footing and stable accessories, has made a conscious decision to purchase “Made In America” products and proudly stands behind their commitment to help the local economy. Premier is well-known within the equestrian community for producing superior products, from dressage arenas used at the World Equestrian Games and the USDF Symposium, to arena footing for the rings at the World Dressage Masters to custom jumps that fill rings at prestigious shows across the country.

“I truly believe we need to take care of our own country and support each other,” said Heidi Zorn, President of Premier Equestrian, a Utah-based company. “I would say that 98 to 99% of our products are made in North America and it was definitely a conscious decision we made to help our own economy."

Zorn said Premier did investigate having molded plastic products – such as dressage arenas, dressage letters and flower boxes, jump standards and jump poles -- made in China but after studying the facts they were convinced more than ever that they needed to employ from the local market. “When we checked into China we discovered that they did not guarantee quality control, they would charge us for putting UV inhibitors in the plastic products without actually guaranteeing the UV inhibitors would be put in and they weren’t willing to honor our intellectual property rights to not use our molds to go into competition against us,” Zorn said.

Zorn said the decision to have Premier’s products “Made in America” is one that the company is proud of and stands behind. “I am a real advocate that we should take care of ourselves and not foreign markets,” she said. “The best news is that we are very pleased with all of the companies we work with and have really found the American companies to be honorable and ethical.”

Premier employs molders in Utah as well as in California. “I really like our plastics that are made locally because we are able to control the UV inhibitors as well as impact modifiers and have everything produced according to specification without cutting corners,” she said, adding that Premier’s products, such as their dressage arenas, not only meet FEI and USEF published specifications but have a five year warranty against fading and discoloration due to weather or sunlight and are constructed with high-quality impact and UV-resistant polyvinyl chloride and polyethylene materials.

Premier’s products are sold around the globe and world-class riders from a variety of disciplines support Premier. “Our website offers extensive and informative information that can help horse owners understand the differences in everything from types of arenas we sell to the different types of horse footing available from Premier,” Zorn said, adding that Premier also has a YouTube channel featuring tips from professionals.

In addition to arenas, footing and jumps, Premier’s extensive website also includes equestrian necessities such as interlocking stall mats, base stabilization grids, carts, feed containers, water tanks, troughs and specialty hardware. For the rider, Premier offers helmets, gloves, Equine Comfort Products sheepskin saddle pads, educational material and training equipment. “We have some very exciting things for horse owners and riders,” Zorn said. Premier Equestrian also offers a complete line of horse jumps and horse jumping equipment, including jump standards, gates, walls, jump cups, horse jump poles, sponsor jumps, and cavaletti.

“The Del Mar Fairgrounds purchased our Brentina Arena for their show grounds and it was featured at the 2011 Adequan®/USDF Symposium,” said Heidi Zorn, President of Premier Equestrian. “The Del Mar Fairgrounds also has a new set of our Dressage Letters that were used in the arena during the symposium. We are very excited to be part of the USDF Symposium, as Premier is a strong supporter of the dressage community. Our Brentina Dressage Arena is named after Debbie McDonald’s famous equine partner, Brentina.  Debbie is one of the national coaches and will be part of the symposium. Debbie is a long-time fan of our Brentina Arena.”  Premier also gave away a set of Berkshire Dressage Letters to lucky winner Tori Polonitza from Bonita Springs, Florida at the Symposium.  Debbie McDonald announced the winner of the letters.

As an official sponsor of the United States Dressage Federation, Premier Equestrian is well known in the dressage community. In 2010, Premier supplied the dressage arenas for the World Equestrian Games, as well as the dressage warm-up arena, driving arena, driving warm-up arena and the flower boxes and dressage letters. “The Brentina Arena was used for the main competition arena at the World Equestrian Games in Lexington and the arena was very well received by the international dressage community,” Zorn said.

Premier Equestrian dressage arenas are designed for safety, beauty, and long life. All of their arenas meet FEI and USEF published specifications and have a lifetime warranty against fading and discoloration due to weather or sunlight. They are constructed with high-quality impact and UV-resistant polyvinyl chloride and polyethylene materials. “Premier’s Brentina Arena is a revolutionary design for multi-rail arenas. The 18” base cone is extremely stable and can accommodate water. Rails are snapped into each cone and will release upon any force or impact for safety,” Zorn said.

Throughout the winter dressage season in south Florida, Premier will continue to show their support of the dressage community by sponsoring the Premier Equestrian Sportsmanship Award, with the winner receiving a $100 gift certificate to Premier Equestrian’s website. Considered America’s leading manufacturer and distributor of dressage arenas, Premier’s website offers extensive information to help horse owners understand the differences in arenas as well as horse arena footing. “Proper horse arena footing is a big issue and Premier has the answers to the most often asked questions when it comes to arena footing,” Zorn said.

Premier Equestrian also offers a complete line of horse jumps and horse jumping equipment. Including jump standards, gates, walls, jump cups, horse jump poles, sponsor jumps, and cavaletti.

Premier Equestrian - Brentina Cup

Premier Equestrian Sponsors Young Adult Brentina Cup Winner And Dressage Trainer Caroline Roffman

Sandy, UT (December 12, 2011) -- Premier Equestrian, a leading supplier of dressage arenas, horse jumps, arena footing and stable accessories, is pleased to announce their sponsorship of Wellington-based dressage rider and trainer Caroline Roffman. The 23-year-old has set the dressage world on fire and during the fall of 2011 proved she is a rider to be reckoned with when she won the Young Adult Brentina Cup at the Collecting Gaits Farm/USEF Festival of Champions and took home three Reserve National Championship titles from the Markel/USEF National Young Horse Dressage Championships.
Caroline Roffman

“Premier is very excited to be sponsoring Caroline. She is certainly one of the brightest dressage stars of our young generation and, in addition to that, she is a lovely young woman,” said Heidi Zorn, President of Premier Equestrian. “Premier is a world leader in dressage products, from arenas and letters to footing for the arenas, and we are proud that Caroline will be using and supporting our products.”

While still in her teens, Roffman kicked off her career by competing in the Young Riders where she won three bronze medals and the coveted Fiona Ban Memorial Trophy. She also qualified and successfully competed in the Young Rider divisions with several horses including Bulgari 5, Rola, Rigaudon and Accent Agiu FRH.

Since embarking on her professional career, Roffman has been a constant presence in the winner’s circle. In 2010, she competed her horse Bon Chance to the Five-Year-Old Championship title at the Young Horse Championships. Roffman, who trains with Danish Olympian Lars Petersen, trained Bon Chance herself. Roffman was also the youngest rider in the Intermediaire I Championships at the Festival of Champions in 2010.

“Caroline recently started her own training and sales business with dressage rider Endel Ots, and I know they will find great success. Caroline has demonstrated that she can take a young horse all the way to a national title and not every rider can do that,” Zorn said. “In 2010 the International Equestrian Federation awarded Caroline with the FEI Rising Star Award and since that time she has proven them right.”

Roffman is thrilled with the sponsorship from Premier and looks forward to representing the company. “I love all of Premier’s products and a sponsorship from Premier is really a milestone for me. My career has been very exciting so far, and I look forward to working with Premier,” she said.

Premier Equestrian manufactures world-class dressage arenas, flower boxes, and dressage letters as well as driving arenas and accessories. Premier Equestrian dressage arenas are made from construction-grade PVC and Polyethylene, providing years of value and service. In 2010, Premier Equestrian was chosen to provide all of the dressage arenas for the FEI World Equestrian Games in Lexington, Kentucky. “It was a great honor to provide the dressage arenas and it speaks loudly about the quality and value of our products,” Zorn said.

Premier Equestrian also offers a complete line of horse jumps and horse jumping equipment, including jump standards, gates, walls, jump cups, horse jump poles, sponsor jumps, and cavaletti. Teamwork Dressage was thrilled to win the Premier Sportsmanship Award and Jules said that part of the key to good sportsmanship in relation to their horses is “to ask the horse and not tell it. I am an old believer in that,” she said.

Jules’ mother, Libby, a retired International Dressage Judge "I" and "S"(Grand Prix) USEF judge who now coaches riders from training level to Grand Prix and specializes in sales horses, was equally pleased that Teamwork Dressage took home the award. Libby said their ability to maintain good sportsmanship while at a show is because they are, “A happy relaxed barn where the horse is the key and the horse is the athlete and we ask the horse in the right way.”

Jules, who was long listed for the Australian 2000 Olympic team, partnered with her mother in 2000 to open Teamwork Dressage. Jules is well known for her ability to train horses from the ground up to the Grand Prix ring. She has placed consistently in national and international competition since moving to the United States and has also trained many students to their Bronze, Silver and Gold USDF medals as well as Regional Championship wins, personal bests and USDF end of year awards.

“Being a good sport is certainly the mark of a successful rider and a successful barn and Premier is pleased to be able to highlight Teamwork Dressage because they epitomize the meaning of true sportsmanship,” said Heidi Zorn, President of Premier Equestrian. “I want to congratulate Jules, Libby and everyone at Teamwork Dressage on winning the Premier Sportsmanship Award.”

Zorn added that Premier sponsored the Sportsmanship Award last year on the South Florida winter dressage circuit and that she was thrilled to be sponsoring it again. “We offer a fantastic line of dressage equipment, jumping equipment, rubber mats, barn and stable accessories, books, DVDs, and footing. Every winner of the award will be able to find something they need and really want among our selection,” she said.

Premier was responsible for adding new footing to the arenas at the Jim Brandon Equestrian Center, where the Wellington Classic Holiday Challenge was held. “Our footing is well known in the Wellington area and I am happy that all of the riders at the show were able to experience our footing,” she said, adding that Premier is also a leader in the field of dressage arenas. “Premier was chosen as an official supplier to the 2010 World Equestrian Games where we supplied the dressage arenas as well as the dressage warm-up arena, driving arena, driving warm-up arena and the flower boxes and dressage letters.”
