Tuny Page Wins Premier Equestrian Award

As one of the United States’ top dressage riders, Page is a fixture in the FEI Grand Prix arena. In addition to her award-winning resume she is also known for her positive spirit and helpful attitude. “Tuny is a legend in the show ring, but her overall positive attitude is what makes her a rider that people want to be around. Premier Equestrian is very honored to award Tuny with the Premier Equestrian Sportsmanship Award. I can’t think of another rider who is more deserving,” said Heidi Zorn, President of Premier Equestrian.

Page was thrilled to win the Sportsmanship Award and thanked Premier for sponsoring the award. “The secret to being a good sport is being grateful for every opportunity you have, that’s what it comes down to,” Page said. “Sometimes things don’t go your way, but that’s part of life and it can be challenging. We need to rise to those challenges, which helps you to be more empathetic, especially when you or your friends are going through difficult times. If you are grateful for every opportunity you have, it certainly makes you more joyous when you or your friends win or have great scores or great results.”

Page is the owner of Stillpoint Farm in Wellington, a farm known for having a thriving training atmosphere. A bevy of world-class trainers operate out of Stillpoint, making it one of the most unique facilities in the country. In 2006, Page was the United States Freestyle Champion and the United States Representative to the FEI World Cup. She was also an alternate to the 2006 World Equestrian Games Team and in 2007 was the United States representative at CHIO Aachen. Page serves the dressage community on the USET Foundation Board of Trustees and the USEF High Performance and Active Athlete Committee.

As the winner of the Sportsmanship Award, Page won a gift certificate for $100 worth of Premier products. “Premier is really a great company and I am so excited to win the gift certificate,” she said. Premier Equestrian, LLC, a leading supplier of dressage arenas, horse jumps, arena footing and stable accessories, has an active presence on the South Florida dressage circuit. “We sponsor the Sportsmanship Award at the dressage shows at the Wellington dressage shows and at the Winter Equestrian Festival.
