Premier Equestrian - New Horse Owner Solutions

Premier Equestrian Expands with
New Products, Innovations and Solutions for Horse Owners

Sandy, UT (August 12, 2011)– Despite a down economy, Premier Equestrian, already one of the largest suppliers of dressage arenas, horse jumps, arena footing and stable accessories in the country, continues to enjoy record growth.  This week the company announced expansion plans, which include featuring several new products in conjunction with infrastructure and personnel expansions. “Our philosophy of always providing ‘premier’ products at the best possible price to the consumer works well in these times when horse owners want to cut expenses without giving up quality or jeopardizing their horses safety and well-being,” said Heidi Zorn, President of Premier Equestrian.

With the expansion, Premier’s Arena Footing Division will be guided by Premier Equestrian’s co-founder Mark Neihart. As the new Vice President of Premier’s Footing Division, Neihart will use his extensive knowledge of arena building, as well as technical knowledge of sand, aggregates and the biomechanical effects of footing on horses, to help grow the arena footing division. “Mark recently returned from the Middle East where he was commissioned to build three equestrian arenas for the President of the U.A.E.,” Zorn commented.

Premier Equestrian’s goal is to double their presence in the footing market within the year. “We have some strong footing products,” Neihart said.  “Along with our proprietary brands ProStride™ and ProTex™ we also are one of the nations largest distributors for Polysol’s GGT Footing product. Our expansion plans call for moving into areas in the West as well as stepping up our offerings for those east of the Mississippi and Canada.”

Premier also offers an array of other footing related products such as Groomers and Harrows as well as the moisture retention additives Hydro-Keep and Magnesium Chloride flakes. “In addition to the outstanding product lines we already offer, Premier is adding significant new lines of product, all aimed at the small-farm, equestrian products market space,” Zorn said. “We are currently producing new molds for a variety of different jumping and dressage arena products. These products are designed by professional riders and engineered for heavy-duty, outdoor use. Our mission is to promote a lifetime of safe riding and we personally see to it that the products we produce are safe, durable, and will make a difference in your riding experience.”

New items being added to the already extensive website, www.PremierEquestrian.com, include equestrian necessities such as interlocking stall mats, base stabilization grids, carts, feed containers, water tanks, troughs and specialty hardware. For the rider, Premier has added helmets, gloves, Equine Comfort Products sheepskin saddle pads, educational material and training equipment. “We have some very exciting things for horse owners and riders,” Zorn said. Premier Equestrian also offers a complete line of horse jumps and horse jumping equipment, including jump standards, gates, walls, jump cups, horse jump poles, sponsor jumps, and cavaletti.

Premier Equestrian’s sister company, Dancing Deer Productions, produces all of Premier’s video marketing material. Dancing Deer produced the much-acclaimed Matter of Trust series by Walter Zettl, and possess full in-house video production, filming and editing capabilities. “Our video department recently produced the On the Levels DVD for the United States Dressage Federation,” Neihart said. “This was the second edition we have produced and dressage riders will find it full of interesting content.” Neihart also spoke about Premier’s push for additional education videos. “New training and how-to videos are being added to our new YouTube channel. We want this to be the place riders go for information about their horses, riding tips and arena information.” Premier videos can be found on the channel PremierEquestrian1 at YouTube.com.

Premier has also added new manufacturing capabilities to it’s already sophisticated fabrication operation, managed by Chris Neihart. The company has expanded and upgraded and now can produce full-feature custom sponsor theme jumps. These capabilities include life size 3D statues of sponsor products, custom cutting and routing with full color graphic horse show jumps. This new capability will provide excellent advertising opportunities for a variety of different companies and products. Premier has already provided these custom jumps for a variety of clients.

Premier Equestrian, a privately held company based in Sandy, Utah, currently has distribution in the United States, Canada, Australia and the Netherlands. “With so much expansion going on, we have also added Drew Gilliland, Attorney at Law to our team. Gilliland has recently acquired a partnership position in Premier Equestrian and will serve as company attorney. Gilliland brings decades of experience in corporate law, intellectual property rights, and corporate fund raising,” Zorn said. “Gilliland will help Premier expand its presence worldwide with new distribution channels in foreign markets.”
