Willowtree Farm in the Hamptons has a new trainer. Mette Larsen and Jenny Susser are excited to welcome Amanda Rossiter to their beautiful facility in Riverhead. If Amanda looks familiar, you may recognize her as the former head rider for the World Famous Lipizzaner Stallions.
Dressage riders and trainers Caroline Roffman and Endel Ots of Lionshare Dressage Farm in Wellington, Florida are excited to announce a new partnership with Der Dau Custom Boots. Both Caroline and Endel will be stepping up and stepping out in style with a new pair of show boots, as well as “everyday” boots from Der Dau. Riders aren’t the only ones stepping out in Der Dau – celebrities, Fortune 100 executives and more have been seen wearing Der Dau custom boots and shoes.
USA Olympian Adrienne Lyle, recipient of the Carol Lavell Advanced Dressage Prize, has been preparing for her trip to Europe to compete and train with Klaus Balkenhol. She and Wizard have a full schedule of CDI competitions in California before their European adventure this summer. Also keep an eye out for Adrienne’s up-and-coming young horses – she’s been enjoying the process of bringing them along and hopes to start them out on the alifornia circuit. “I think we have some very talented youngsters on our hands. It is exciting to work with them and watch them learn and mature every day,” she said.
Olympic athletes Debbie McDonald and Mason Phelps came out of retirement to perform a disco-themed pas de deux at The Challenge of the Americas presented by SSG Gloves in Wellington, Florida. Dressed in white tailcoats with red satin lining, the two trotted down the centerline to a freestyle choreographed with the help of Carl Hester and set to music provided by Terry Ciotti Gallo. The Challenge celebrated its 11th anniversary in its fight against breast cancer with teams of top international dressage riders competing in freestyle quadrilles to raise money to help find a cure for breast cancer. Proceeds benefited the Breast Cancer Research Foundation through Play For P.I.N.K.

“Premier Equestrian was proud to be a sponsor of this important
annual convention,” said Heidi Zorn, “and to offer a custom jump. I’m
confident Martha will discover that our artisans can make any jump she
can dream up!" “The jumps are amazing,” said Murdock after an inspiring click through PremierEquestrian.com. “It would be hard to choose but I think a gate or a coop would be lovely. My colors are blue and red so that would be my pick of colors and I love the bright jumps. I have been riding over fences the last two years on a pinto mare that I bred, named Last Goodbye, and she has brought me back to my youth with her talent for jumping. This year, she will compete at Nationals in Canada and in the U.S., and in 2012 was undefeated in Green Working Hunter. A new jump will help me school at home.” Premier Equestrian offers a completeline of horse jumps and horse jumping equipment, including horse jump standards, sponsor jumps, and cavaletti, and is also considered America’s leading manufacturer and distributor of equestrian arenas.
