Lord, of West Palm Beach, rides for Debi Berger who owns Legacy Farms of Jupiter. Lord competes many of the Legacy horses, including Legacy's Conquistador Del Sol, a 16.2 hand, black, Pure Spanish Breed Andalusian stallion, Legacy's Adrian, a 17.1 hand chestnut Danish Warmblood gelding and Legacy's Hawke, a 16.1 hand black Friesian gelding.

Lord was thrilled to win the Premier Sportsmanship Award and said his constant smile is a result of doing something that he loves. "My secret to good sportsmanship is to remember at the end of the day that I am in this sport because it is my passion and I love to do it," he said.

A year-round South Florida resident who grew up in Maine, Lord said he enjoys competing the Legacy horses and competed Legacy's Adrian at the Wellington Challenge III show. "My goals include competing the black Andalusian in the Prix St. Georges next season and then eventually competing him in the Grand Prix," Lord said.

Thanks to his great sportsmanship during the show, Lord rode away with a pair of German-designed Roeckl gloves from Premier Equestrian. Roeckl Gloves, which are available at Premier's website and in their catalog, are available in the Regent Glove, an all leather sports design made from buttery soft leather with an elastic wrist and snap. Considered Roeckl's most comfortable schooling glove, they are also great for driving. The Chester is a German-designed synthetic leather glove by Roeckl that combines style and versatility and features a textured palm and Velcro brand closure.

Heidi Zorn, President of Premier Equestrian, congratulated Lord on winning the Premier Sportsmanship Award and complimented him on his winning smile. "I love a rider who is always pleasant and shows off their award-winning smile, and Jeffrey is certainly that type of rider. Premier is pleased to add his name to a list of well-deserving riders who have won the Premier Sportsmanship Award this season. Jeffrey won a pair of Roeckl gloves from Premier and I know he will love wearing them. While it is his passion to ride and compete, it is Premier's passion to provide high quality products to the equestrian community, everything from dressage arenas and footing to horse jumps and gloves."

Zorn added that Premier Equestrian's products, such as their dressage arenas, are well received by the international dressage community. Premier recently helped re-do the footing at the Jim Brandon Equestrian Center for the World Dressage Masters. Premier was also chosen as an official supplier to the World Equestrian Games and supplied the dressage arenas for the Games, as well as the dressage warm-up arena, driving arena, driving warm-up arena and the flower boxes and dressage letters.

Premier's international exposure continues to grow, and they recently constructed three equestrian arenas at the prestigious Al Asayl Equestrian Center in Abu Dhabi, UAE, for the Royal Family.
