Martha Murdock, of Martha Murdock Stables in Paris, Kentucky, was pleasantly surprised to learn that her jump arena would soon have a new addition thanks to Premier Equestrian.  Murdock had the lucky raffle draw for a custom jump by Premier Equestrian during the USEF Convention, January 16-19, in nearby Louisville.  Premier sponsored a breakfast during the convention, and raffled off one of their completely customizable jumps to alucky attendee.

“Premier Equestrian was proud to be a sponsor of this important annual convention,” said Heidi Zorn, “and to offer a custom jump.  I’m confident Martha will discover that our artisans can make any jump she can dream up!"
“The jumps are amazing,” said Murdock after an inspiring click through PremierEquestrian.com.  “It would be hard to choose but I think a gate or a coop would be lovely. My colors are blue and red so that would be my pick of colors and I love the bright jumps. I have been riding over fences the last two years on a pinto mare that I bred, named Last Goodbye, and she has brought me back to my youth with her talent for jumping. This year, she will compete at Nationals in Canada and in the U.S., and in 2012 was undefeated in Green Working Hunter.  A new jump will help me school at home.”

Premier Launches Canine Division Debuting New Rings and Jumps During AKC/Eukanuba National Championships

Premier Launches Canine Division Debuting New Rings and Jumps During AKC/Eukanuba National Championships

Orlando, FL (December 26, 2012) – Premier successfully launched their new canine division to the overwhelming delight of dog breeders, spectators and exhibitors during the AKC/Eukanuba National Championships held in Orlando, Florida. Working directly with Eukanuba, Premier Canine’s new conformation rings and dog agility jumps debuted at the “Celebrate Dogs” Championships, receiving rave reviews from dog enthusiasts as well as from the American Kennel Club itself.

“We tried something brand new,” states Jason Taylor, Director of Communications and Influencer Relations for Eukanuba, “We hooked up with Premier to design a show ring that would accommodate dog conformation judging, which has never been done anywhere else in the world. And I tell you, everyone is loving these Premier rings!” Taylor also explained that dog shows are much different than horse shows because of the different sizes and variety of the breeds.

In the past, it has been difficult for judges and spectators to clearly see all the dogs through an unobstructed view due to the traditional one-size-fits all show rings used in dog shows. Now, thanks to Premier’s innovation and experience in the show arena industry, seeing the dogs during their biggest performance is no longer a problem. “Premier’s rings provide the necessary boundary, and it does so in a very elegant way, but in the end, it’s about being able to see the dogs. These rings allow for this better than anything that anyone has ever seen before.”

Taylor also describes the need for dog show rings to be extremely versatile. “We’re constantly reconfiguring rings based on breed size,” he says, “Different breeds need different size rings, and with the new Premier rings, this is very quickly done because they are so easy to move and easy to set up. And the flower boxes look absolutely beautiful!”

Premier Canine’s new dog conformation arenas are made with 100% UV resistant PVC, and are designed for easy set up and installation. The arena size is 60’ x 60’ and comes with support cones that are 12” tall, as well as 1.5” x 5.5” rails that are 10’ long. These arenas have been very successful in horse shows for years, and feature qualities like wind stability, UV resistance and extreme durability.

In addition to the rings, Premier Canine also debuted their new dog agility jumps. “I have loved dogs my whole life,” states Shirley Zorn, co-founder of Premier Canine. “Every breed, every color, and every size. So when my sister, Heidi and her husband, Mark asked me if I was interested in working with them to expand Premier’s business to include dog jumps, it was a dream come true. So, we went to work and developed a line of dog agility products that are safe, high quality, easy to use and fun for the dogs.”

One of these jumps was awarded to lucky raffle prize winner, June Diem during the Championships. The Premier Canine dog agility jumps provide the same high quality standard that people have come to expect from Premier. Made with an enhanced foot design, the jump sets include wing standards, one striped pole along with a jump strip on each standard. The jump strips are marked with the heights and made for easy set up. “Our products are designed for all of those who love their dogs and want to give them the best!” adds Zorn.
