EZGrip – a Mat Moving Tool

EZ Grip mat mover is a gripping tool that quickly turns into a mat handle by basically locking itself on the rubber to make pulling, pushing, and even lifting the mat a lot more easier. EZGrip can move anything that is textured or compressive, e.G. Mats used in vet clinics, arenas, barns, trailers, grooming areas, wash bays, and kennels. It can also lift heavy awkward rugs, glue down carpets, job sites, plywood and even oily dirty shop mats. EZGrip grabs then really tight and holds them much tighter.

There are many people who are skeptical about using this powerful tool. However, many who have tried and used EZ Grip for moving stall mats were really happy with what the tool has done. Another great advantage of using EZ Grip according to a satisfied user is that it won’t let your hands get dirty. Horse Arena Footing - Fundraiser for Horse Arena Footing

World Class Footing for $125 Each-Boarders at Lynnleigh Farm Institute “Buy A Square” Plan To Put GGT Footing Underfoot

Sandy, UT (June 29, 2011) - A group of enthusiastic boarders at Lynnleigh Farm, one of the oldest and most notable boarding and riding facilities in Utah, recently gathered together to purchase GGT Horse Arena Footing for their indoor arena, resulting in a new-and-improved arena that has everyone at Lynnleigh jumping for joy. The boarders bought the GGT footing from Premier Equestrian, a leading supplier of dressage arenas, horse jumps, arena footing and stable accessories, in a program provided by Premier Equestrian called “Buy A Square,” with the average donation costing about $125 per person.

“Lynnleigh Farm is a large training facility that is home to hunter/jumpers, eventers and dressage riders. The facility was built in the early 70’s and has been a haven for many generations of equestrian enthusiasts. Their indoor arena needed to be rehabbed, as the footing had probably been in there for 25 years and was extremely broken down,” said Heidi Zorn, President of Premier Equestrian. “We didn’t have to change the base, we just added the GGT footing directly to the arena sand and it has made all the difference in the world. The effects have been unbelievable for a minimal cost and everyone is really happy with the way their horses are going now in the indoor arena.”

With up to 40 rides a day taking place in the Lynnleigh indoor arena, the footing had lost its traction, was uneven and had developed ruts along the rail. “Thankfully a good base was still intact and once we added the GGT, it stabilized the sand and added extra cushioning,” Zorn said, adding that trainers and owners Robin Sundeen and Darcy Conklin were also thrilled with the results. “Now the rail doesn’t rut, the horses aren’t slipping and they can even lounge horses in the indoor.”

Lynnleigh Farm has featured a multitude of prominent clinicians over the years, and Sally O’Connor recently taught a clinic at the farm and was thrilled with the new footing. “Sally said there was a night and day difference in the way the horses went, especially the older horses,” Zorn said. “She was really ecstatic about the transformation due to the footing and said that she was impressed at how much more the older horses were able to do.”

Zorn said it was a great experience for Premier, especially seeing the Lynnleigh family come together to make the improvement. “Everyone was involved and they all loved it. In fact everyone who signed up to buy a square of GGT footing helped spread the footing when we delivered it,” she said.

GGT Footing is a neutral non-toxic, non-allergenic material that will not affect either humans or animals. GGT Footing qualities include: good resistance to compacting; stabilizes sand particles and delivers high elasticity; gentle on the bare hoof with great energy absorption for less concussion; high slide strength and intermediate shear resistance delivers additional stability; improves and balances moisture absorption; and it offers significant dust reduction for indoor riding arenas. “GGT Footing is used at top venues all over the world,” Zorn said.

“Our footing experts at Premier can tell you if your existing arena sand is the type that we can add GGT Footing to, so we encourage everyone interested in achieving the same results Lynnleigh Farm has to give us a call,” Zorn said. “The boarders at Lynnleigh had such a great idea, with everyone pitching in to buy the footing, and they will be happy for years to come with their footing.” Farms everywhere can now extend the life of their existing sand through Premier’s Buy A Square program. Horse Dressage Footing- Horse Arena Footing

Free Arena Sand Analysis From Premier Equestrian Helps Horse Owners Determine Good Footing From Bad

Sandy, UT (July 6, 2011) – Determining whether the footing in a riding arena is good or bad is often a daunting task for horse owners. Thanks to Premier Equestrian’s new footing division, horse owner’s can receive a free sand analysis to determine the make-up of their ring. Premier Equestrian LLC, a leading supplier of dressage arenas, horse jumps, arena footing and stable accessories, has recently expanded to include an Arena Footing Division, guided by Premier’s co-founder Mark Neihart.

free sand analysis

“We are offering a free sieve analysis report for our customer’s arena sand. This can be existing sand or sand they are thinking about buying from the local quarry. The test will analyze the particle size of the sand, telling us if it is course or fine and what percentage of each sized particle makes up the sand. We use this test to determine the suitability of the sand for our products GGT Footing, ProTex and Prostride Crumb Rubber,” said Neihart.

Neihart has extensive footing experience, recently constructing three equestrian arenas at the prestigious Al Asayl Equestrian Center in Abu Dhabi, UAE. “No matter where you are located, most people experience problems with their footing,” Neihart said. “Sand comes in all shapes and sizes and some sands are much better than others to use in arenas. Depending upon factors such as access to water, climate, indoor or outdoor, and the footing product you are using in the sand, the sand type matters.”

The free sand analysis from Premier will determine what type of footing can be added to an arena to produce the best possible footing. “Our GGT Footing, ProTex and Prostride Crumb Rubber can be added to the sand to help get the most protection and performance from an arena,” Neihart said. “One of the goal’s of Premier is to educate horse owners, including understanding what type of footing is best in an arena.”

Neihart said bad footing includes footing that is too hard, too deep or rolls. “Bad footing affects the bio-mechanical movement of the horse and can prematurely wear out joints, tendons, and ligaments. Some footings can permanently cause lameness. Of course bad footing also affects the performance of the horse,” he said. Good footing will protect a horse from lameness issues and enhance the horse’s performance by giving the horse a consistent surface to ride on. “Cushion, shear prevention, and the resulting traction are things to expect from a good footing surface,” Neihart said.

Premier Equestrian is considered America’s leading manufacturer and distributor of dressage arenas. Chosen as an official supplier to the World Equestrian Games, Premier Equestrian supplied the dressage arenas for the World Equestrian Games, as well as the dressage warm-up arena, driving arena, driving warm-up arena and the flower boxes and dressage letters. Premier is also a leading supplier of arena footing, and has supplied the new Palm Beach Equine Sports Complex, located in Wellington, with ProTex footing for their new 220 x 90 covered dressage arena. Premier Equestrian also offers Prostride Horse Arena Footing and GGT-Footing.
